Candyshorts app: how to watch Candy Shorts on your phone or computer
People look for a Candy Shorts app expecting a download in the App Store or Google Play. You do not need one. Candy Shorts play in the browser on candy.ai, on any phone or computer, and the site can sit on your home screen like an app. Here is how to set that up and what to expect from the video.
Short answer
There is nothing to download. Open candy.ai in your phone's browser, and add it to the home screen if you want an icon. The series play in a vertical player sized for phones.
On a phone
- Open candy.aiIn Safari, Chrome or any current browser.
- Add to home screenIn the browser's share or menu options, choose "Add to Home Screen". You get an icon that opens candy.ai in one tap.
- Watch uprightThe episodes are vertical, so hold the phone the way you normally do.
On a computer
On a laptop or desktop the same series play in a tall column in the middle of the screen. You can switch to full screen from the player. Any modern browser works.
The video
Episodes are short vertical videos. They stream, so you need a connection; there is no offline mode and no download button.
Subtitles
Subtitles are available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese, and you can change them in the player while an episode plays.
Beware of fake apps
Apps in unofficial stores that claim to be Candy Shorts, or APKs that promise free episodes, are not from Candy AI. Since the series run in the browser, there is no reason to install anything. More on is Candyshorts safe?.
Previews before you open the app
Several series have a short preview clip on our site, which plays in their card on the home page: My Step-Sister's Dormitory, I Couldn't Say No to Our Babysitter, My Young Stepmom Needs a Date, Student Bodies, My Girlfriend's Twin and YES MA'AM among them.

Phone or computer: which is better
The series are made for phones: vertical, close-up and short. On a phone they fill the screen; on a computer they play as a column in the middle with space either side. If you watch on a laptop, full screen makes the episode larger but keeps the vertical shape. Neither needs an app.
Data and connection
Episodes stream as you watch them, so a stable connection matters more than a fast one. On mobile data each episode is short, but a long series such as YES MA'AM adds up; Wi-Fi is the comfortable option for binge sessions.
Signing in on more than one device
Candy AI is a web account, so you sign in the same way in any browser, on a phone or a computer, with the same email and password.
Keeping the icon discreet
A home-screen icon added from the browser shows the site's own icon and name. If you prefer nothing on your home screen, skip that step and open candy.ai from a bookmark or by typing it; the series work the same way.
Locked episodes in the player
Locked episodes show their token price on the unlock button, and you confirm before anything is spent. Subtitles are chosen from the player, in any of the seven languages.
Series with a preview, by the numbers
For each of the most searched open series, the table shows the number of episodes and the tokens needed for the locked part, so you know what to expect before opening the player.
